What is ACAT assessment?
At Page Care Services we can help you through the ACAT assessment process.
ACAT assessment is the process by which Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) assess older persons to assist them in gaining access to the most appropriate Australian Government subsidised aged care services. The assessment identifies eligibility and approvals for packages of care to assist the person to remain in his/her own home or for respite or permanent care in a residential facility.
Once your level of care has been approved (Government Care Package), you have 56 days in which to find a suitable care provider who can deliver on care at home that meets your needs.
Page Care Services can assist you with this process. We endeavour to identify at least 2 providers who meet these requirements.
We ensure you are clear on the fees levied by the provider associated with this package and when satisfied be involved with the signing of the agreement with the provider of choice.
We do not stop there. Should you be uncomfortable with the service provider over the following months, we will be involved with discussions to improve this service OR seek another care provider who is more in tune with your needs.
